Buffalo have 4 forwards who were first round picks in the draft (Rosen, Kulich, Benson, Savoie) and the Canadiens only have one (Mesar) and it shows.

Beck is pretty much a first rounder.

Mailloux needs reps and playing less than 100 OHL games really shows. He needs 1-2 years of AHL hockey, maybe even some ECHL hockey.

Where's the talent that rivals Savoie, or Benson ? Habs have Mesar as a 1st round forward previously mentioned.

Roy is good as are others but they're not comparable at this stage to the other two.

Hmmmm. Honestly since we have Barron and Reinbacher on RD maybe they use him as a trade chip? Would probably be wise PR pov too.

Mailloux needs to work on his feet, he has good top speed once he gets going but the footwork needs alot of improvement, IQ is average and defense needs work as pointed out by me and some other posters over here. Its only 1 game though so we shouldnt come to conclusions too early, but if thats the way he handles himself during the main camp, he will be cut as soon as the rockets camp opens up. Mailloux has some impressive tools, he is a good prospect, but the bust potential is higher than some of our other top D prospects. Even a kid like Konyuskov, our last 4th round has lesser bust potential than Mailloux, he just plays a solid pro game already and both are 20 yrs old.

Dobes the standout of this game, Reinbacher solid all over the ice as expected. Not much to talk about other than that. Up front Heineman looks like the most NHL ready as expected.
