Kinda funny hearing the commentator talk about most players at these tournaments don't get to pick their own numbers, but top prospects like Eklund was able to get his 72... Yet Eklund said in an interview that he only wears 72 because it was given to him when he joined Djurgardens. I recall he wore 11 at Hlinkas a couple years ago.

Some guys just adopt those random numbers in the end. I think Hertl (48), Braun (61), and Nieto (83) are some guys who got random numbers and they just stuck with it through there careers.

I was following Sheng’s Twitter and he tweeted that Weatherby is walking around and is fine. I don’t recall hearing about him getting injured…did I miss something? He was on the ice and assisted Eklund’s ENG yesterday.
