At the Ice Den... because it’s only for today and they head to Vegas after that. Also something about a gargantuan piece of electronics being installed at GRA and it looked as if the ice hadn’t been put down yet.

Main camp will be at GRA AFAIK.

Surprised this thread isn't getting more action, considering we've got live hockey today.

Anyway, I went yesterday. Nothing really exciting, lots of premium drills lead Varady. Hayton looks no different than anyone else out there as far as skill is concerned. What a shitty decision to pass on one of the D and more specifically Zadina.

I thought Hayton looked good. Skates with his head up, good hands, knew where his guys were on the ice, clean passes. Defensively a good stick, some nice poke-checks and protected his lane very well. I'm not ready to say he was a better pick than Zadina but I was pleased for a first showing.

Not so easy to compare a center picked for his hockey-IQ with a guy picked as a scoring winger. Can't understand how so many people think they can be better than Chayka & al on this.
