We've got some adjustments to make after that one, for sure. Hard to stomach we finally broke through with that Graf goal and then threw it away so easily. We kept pressure on but our actual execution wasn't very good. Colorado's tough to break down.

Bystedt is day to day, Pashelka says he might even be back tomorrow. I'm a little surprised they opted to scratch Colin White, if he's healthy.

Man what happened to the cuda? Who stopped the wagon?

They were awful in Iowa last weekend, last night they looked like the better team but just didn't do enough to close the game out. Weren't a lot of big chances and both of Colorado's third period goals were gut punches.

Sabourin actually did have a chance to tie the game up in the last minute 6 on 5. Had a wide open net but just shanked the one-timer. Different conversation if he converts there.

3-2 Cuda after two periods, Eagles got a PPG. Refs are calling some really ticky tack penalties and then missed us having six guys on the ice right at the buzzer (Eagles are currently serving a too many men penalty). Colorado bench was losing their minds.

Eagles do get one goal back after pulling the goalie but Cuda break their three-game losing streak with a 5-3 win. I have to hand it to Colorado, they're a tough veteran team. They don't have a lot of prospects, partially because the Avs have had barely any draft picks over the past few years.

Big night for Tristen Robins (2G, 1A). Robins now has 6 points in 4 games. Meanwhile Danil Gushchin only managed one assist over the two games this weekend, but recorded 14 total shots. IMO he just looks like he's processing the game better than any of our other players.

Cuda have a Wednesday home game vs. San Diego next.

Does Robins have an NHL future?

Let's first just keep him healthy. This is the best hockey I've seen him play, but he just missed a month due to injury after missing about half of last season. If he's still playing at this level later in the season he's a guy who I'd give a callup in a bottom six role. If we're doing callups.

He's got a lot of tools- he's versatile, a smart player, offensively talented, good on the PK. Plays bigger than he is. But that's one of his knocks: That he isn't bigger than he is.
