I thought that was a possession style of hockey, which is a component of east-west style of hockey, no? Then again, AV did prefer shot quality over shot quantity. But his style was all about the rush.

This team went from likeable to hateable according to HFNYR in a matter of a week or so. Gonna be some growing pains for sure.

Lot of key injuries, coupled with Hayes and Kreider going missing and it's pretty much what's expected.

Vesey’s passing is better, but still not very good. He could have easily sent Mika in on a breakaway.

No, it’s pretty ass. Sometimes he can make a decent pass, but that’s not the norm.

Every criticism that I've had of Pionk (and Skjei, to an extent) -that the Rangers get outperformed in every aspect when they're out there- is the opposite for Fast. When Fast is on the ice, the Rangers do everything better than the other team.

He doesn't have the offense to match that, but when did he?
