I get you, but I hate this "allow rule breaking for the sake of entertainment" mindset.Definitely a missed call but that was so unreal that I’m not even mad.

Great save, and somehow avoided giving up a penalty shot despite catching and throwing the puck.
Everything was fine until your last sentence. The penalty was that he threw it. If he just drops it at his feet and then plays with his stick or feet it’s a legal play.
You can’t close your hand on the puck in the crease. Catching it and holding it would meet that bar methinks.
Read the rule dude. Catch and drop is explicitly permitted. You can’t close your hand on the puck in the crease. Catching it and holding it would meet that bar methinks.
Great save. Awful refs.
I know everyone complains about officiating but the NHL refs have been going downhill for a long time now, and this season seems to have taken a significant jump down right into the crapper.
Also, would Josi be interested in playing goal for the Wings?
Shit happens fast, hooking and holds can often be 50/50 plays, but this play is so blatantly obvious what is going on that if you can't make the proper call here, you can't be trusted to do the job properly.
The save isnt illegal, the closing hand on puck is but still a good saveWeird that the official Nashville account is posting a clearly illegal play as a great highlight but it was a nice save by Josi
You see him catch the puck, you see his hand closing as it goes upwards and around, you then see the puck exit from his glove. How is it not evident? The puck disappears into his glove as his glove clearly closes then it emerges from his glove a second later.Where, show me the clip or frames of it? You cant see that from the Op clip, maybe you seen another clip that actually shows it bc OP does't. I'm not saying he didn't, I'm saying that clip doesn't show it.
Swatting the puck out of the air? Did you not see the puck disappear for a whole second while it was in his glove then remerge. He didnt swat it, down, he clearly caught then threw. Look how long puck was out of sight.Again maybe another angle shows that, but that doesn't show that. It shows him from behind swatting the puck out of the air absolutely, but doesn't show any hand closed on the puck.
If you believe it does show the frame where it shows it, otherwise its just personal speculation.
Again maybe another angle shows it or during the game live it showed it clear from the other side but this OP clip doesn't show that, just people assuming he did.

I did but i just dont see how it wasnt obvious from the initial replay.Keep reading my posts on it haha

Unless you thought the puck just was stuck on the outside of the glove like glue it was apparent from initial replay puck didnt just get swatted down and there was a good second between it hitting his glove then getting awkwardly flung back out that direction making it obvious it was in his glove and you see his glove closing in the follow through of the save To in initial replay. You dont directly see the puck in his glove but the fact the puck disappears into his glove to only emerge second later when he throws hia glove bacl should be enough evidence.
