Great to hear he is doing well and improving. You have to love this kid for being positive about this. Not easy at his age. Hopefully he is fully recovered soon.

Let's hope it turns into a blessing in disguise. He gets a little longer to mature. I dont think he was NHL ready yet and this may slow down the process while he maybe packs on some lbs.
I don't think cancer is a good trade off for anyone ever.

Not sure to be honest. I think they're still treating it so it was never fully gone yet. Good thing he'll get access to the best doctors. Just hope he makes a full recovery regardless of his hockey career.

Why is it even necessary to tell people not to hold their breath about his playing career anyways? He doesnt think its over and yet you, with no knowledge in the matter at all seem to want to tell people all about it.

I just dislike the constant pessimism and cynicism.
Kids a gamer, still trained throughout his cancer treatment and was skating, so its annoying to see nobodies step in and say "dont hold your breath!". Then make it seem like its the teams bad luck, not the kid with cancer.
