I do kind of side with Yeo on one thing - that I’m not sure any coach could do a lot here. There are critical systemic/usage mistakes that could be avoided - but really… this is a dime a dozen group of lads that are boring AF.

Absolutely. Yeo of all people won't get this group to play above their level. Tortorella will, but that will only entail just keeping their heads above water. And the level we should expect is still real low.

Who knows? The last two years, especially last season, have been screwy.

Even then in 2020-21 they actually were pretty decent 5x5.

Couts, TK, Farabee, Hayes, Laughton, JVR, Sanheim, Braun all posted xGF > 50%.
Allison in a 14 game cameo put up a ridiculous 60.19%.
So potentially this team could be a solid possession group.
They still have to fix STs to be winning team, but they should be able to hang with teams at ES.

We'll see what York, TDA, Attard, Cates, Tippett, Frost, Allison and Laczynski can do.

The Oban price hike vexed me. Likewise for Tito's after it got big. My vodka is Sobieski now.
