Well I hope Rousek gets in the Sabres game. Kind of a shit call to hurt the Amerks for insurance against injury in the pregame skate in a meaningless game. I know he gets NHL checks either way…but who cares about the 13th or 14th forward in the last game of a year you are eliminated? Amerks games matter

To recap this whole thing

Amerk was tripped entering the zone and the ref stared at it

immediately the other way they called a good defensive effort a penalty because their player fell and took an amerk with him

puck over the glass immediately for a 5 on 3

completely ticky tack hooking where their player appears to have held ours stick after it tapped his knee for another penalty

misconduct for abuse of official

…

That all happened in about 90 seconds
