Per Lance's article today, Ostlund has left and gone back to Sweden, not healthy enough to play. No decision yet about next year, but I have to think he'd be worried about falling behind after seeing all the other prospects in Rochester. The best news though, apparently, he's grown an inch and put on some muscle since the draft.

Nadeau is healthy and practicing in case he gets a shot, just like Savoie will be.

- Weissbach should be able to go.
- Jobst held out today as maintenance.
- Ostlund went back to Sweden and is still rehabbing his foot injury.
- Savoie, they want him to get comfortable with the team and get him some rest. He will play at some point but that is not until he gets acclimated. He had a strong practice despite travel, etc...
- Has a lot of loyalty to the players who have brought them this far. (Can't disagree.)
- Mersch praised again for handling helping to integrate the new players.
- Dev staff continues to help integrate the new guys.
- Apps was asked what is different for a 7-game series and he quipped "I don't know, never done it" before giving a more reasoned answer.
- Compares Hershey more to Syracuse than Toronto for the AHL-level vets.
- Nadeau is working hard, needs to acclimate to pace of play (both foot speed but also processing speed), should acclimate due to his smarts.

Appert and staff have impressed, the veterans are excellent, but the three rookie forwards (plus Keesa who had big moments) are truly a joy to watch.
