Toronto sports has seen three of their teams go out in the playoffs in a week - Leafs, Rock and Marlies. Two of those were at the hands of Buffalo-connected teams - the Bandits and now the Amerks. Feels good man.

And Florida is roughly 1/4 former Sabres based on how many times I have to roll my eyes at their success

Not for nothing, but the teams in the '90's that went to a bunch of Calder Cups brought so much of the roster that was the '99 Cup team and then the next Conference Finals team was a chunk of the Co-Caps teams. There is so much growth these guys have gone through over these series.

That cannot be understated. I was a bit defeated after the Sabres losing streak in March. I thought the room was lost again. There's been so much growth in both Buffalo and Rochester since then.

No knock against any other player but Kulich, WTF at 19 years old? Misses the first two playoff games and we lose both and now goals in the each of the next 6 plus assists. Balls.

9 points in 6 games as a fresh 19 year old would be an unreal stretch at any point of a season. Especially with the consistency of finding the back of the net every single night. Doing it in the playoffs coming off an injury is just silly.

how do they matchup with Hershey ?

Split the season series 1-1, but the Amerks win was in the shootout with Kisakov winning it. They only played twice, both within a week back in March. The game in Hershey was a 2-1 loss.

Rousek with 1-3-4 too and in a game with 4GA, Subban was excellent. Lots of praise to go around.
