After that it seemed like a constant roller-coaster with him, but he really seemed to get better in the last two years. He was working more and more on jobs as a freelancer etc. And this summer, he suicided by throwing himself under a train.Bipolar can be a scary disorder to live with. Your own brain is constantly playing tricks on you, building you up into a reckless superhuman and then tearing you down to nothing. I can't even imagine the pressure of dealing with bipolar as a top-level pro athlete. Here's hoping Lehner gets the help he needs.
