Read the entirety of that thread, it’s feels like waking up to awful news is a real possibility. He’s clearly having a manic episode and or something else. Possibly intoxicated but he says some scary implied comments

not sure if is a fraud or legit but I am looking on lines for ways to contact people who may know where he is. Yes I know this maybe a joke but I would rather look like fool when it comes to this subject

SO feel free to laugh at me but so far I have managed to email his Agent, the knights, NHLPA and the NHL
Let us know if you hear anything back. I doubt it but you never know. I'm sure his closest friends from around the league were texting and calling him when reading that

Bipolar can be a scary disorder to live with. Your own brain is constantly playing tricks on you, building you up into a reckless superhuman and then tearing you down to nothing. I can't even imagine the pressure of dealing with bipolar as a top-level pro athlete. Here's hoping Lehner gets the help he needs.

The #1 sports broadcaster/commentator in Finland had a bipolar disease. Struggled with it and alcoholism, and was sacked from the national broadcasting company in 2018 after an incident. After that it seemed like a constant roller-coaster with him, but he really seemed to get better in the last two years. He was working more and more on jobs as a freelancer etc. And this summer, he suicided by throwing himself under a train.

It's a scary disease, the bipolar disorder. Hopefully Lehner gets help, and him and his family stay safe.

There's no point in trying to armchair diagnose someone based on a tweet. The only thing that matters is him getting professional help. They can diagnose him if need be, not any of us.

Lehner's been extremely commendable for speaking out about his mental health struggles. He used his Masterton Trophy acceptance speech to discuss it and gave us one of the best quotes ever.

He's open in that he was diagnosed with bipolar 1 with manic episodes along with PTSD due to abuse and addiction.

Now whether calling this schizophrenia psychosis instead of a bipolar manic episode, or whatever it might actually be, I think that's missing the forest for the trees; the important thing is that he's clearly not doing well and we all hope he gets help.

100%

I heard him give lengthy interviews on a couple of podcasts and while some criticized him, I respected him so much afterwards. Not many people are willing to take a risk and share a lot of the things he did, extremely personal things. I gained huge respect for him and hope he can pull out of this. We need more people speaking out on these issues like Robin and I hope there are enough people around who can provide the support he needs.

All of it are probably true. Friedman and all the other hockey media dudes who said that there was no foul play when Vegas ''settled'' Lehners contract shouldn't feel good about themselves now.
Settling the contract I believe is a different thing. He couldn't come to Vegas for the physical. That is a breach of contract. Vegas paid him out when they could have terminated the deal.

I'm very concerned for him and really hope he's getting help at this moment. I really look up to him because he is outspoken about mental health and it's something I and many others struggle with.

Folks, this is getting very personal into a players life. Has nothing to do with a hockey discussion. So am locking this up. Thank you.
