What kind of package would it take to get RNH to the big apple? Would EDM be interested in a Player like Stepan to replace him? I think something around RNH + Klefbom for Stepan + Mcdonagh could benefit both teams although i think EDM adds slightly

Listen, I would hope the Rags would do that stupid deal to weaken their roster. That said, you overrate RNH and Klefbom. The Rags would be sending more to Edmonton and its not close.

McD has more value than does RNH. Klefbom? What has he done to show any sense of value?

You mean aside from being a guy who is already at 0.33PPG at 23 years old, on a great contract, who plays 20+ minutes a night against top competition? On a trainwreck of a team no less? He might not have the value of McDonagh, but he certainly has a lot of value.

Someone is going to brag about the amount of TOI Klefbom gets( and on a Trainwreck of a defense, no less), when he only played 30 games last year?

Why not let him put in a couple of seasons where he plays 75+ games plus some playoff games before you crown him King, eh?

Yes let's. I don't think either fan base really wants to make this trade anyways and we wanna see the swedish connection of klefbom and Larsson anyways.

Perfect example of a deal where all players involved are more vabuable to their current team.

Moving McD ruins the rangers D. They know exactly what they have in Stephan and are fine with him. Also, Rangers will hang onto hope of a Stanley cup as long as Lundqvist is there and moving the 2 proven players for riskier ones doesn't help that.

Oilers easily do this deal if it was offered 2-3 years ago. But right now, Nuge has more value than Stephan due to his age and potential. Yes he's been around a long time but he's still young and finding his game.
McD is an upgrade over klefbom right now but that could easily change in a year or two. I haven't been impressed as much with McD recently, could be him playing with girardi as some have pointed out, but something seems off.

This deal doesn't help either team in regards to their wants and needs, and all 4 are good hockey players.

Klefbom is better than Larsson and is clearly the #1D in Edmonton. Sure the sample size is small but if you watch the games you would know why Oilers fans are high on him.
Not going to compare him to Ryan McDonagh but EDM is more than happy with keeping Klefbom.
