Jets will have to make a coaching change as the bare minimum in showing fans they are trying to turn things around.

does anyone really think a Mo has this team prepared to play game in and game out never mind playing and winning, whole team looks disinterested and that’s on coaching!

I have never seen this team play so awful like this ever in franchise history.
There is way too much talent on this team to play this shitty.

Turns out the Jets forwards are poor defensively. Turns out going from a system where everyone is held to the same standards to this where it appears to be a free style. Paul has said he doesn't coach certain guys. It's quite obvious he meant he doesn't coach anyone. Can't be an easy situation. Love the crapping on Dubois when he atleast works hard. Dude was building chemistry with KC... Switched up. Building chemistry with Ehlers... Hurt. Building chemistry with Vesalainen and Perreault.. vesa sits meanwhile the leaders float all season and no repercussions

They dont generate any chances. They dont generate any momentum. They have a hard time exiting their zone and a worse time entering the other team's zone. They dont hit. It is just a whole bunch of meh.

Don't understand why we are so shity at home. Pionk not playing really hurt, didn't like the play of anyone really. The Jets need to get their heads out of there ass's very soon and i don't like how they are playing but i sure like it better than the years of 1997 to 2010 , those years were absolutely horrible.

Somehow this team with all the offensive talent can barely even create a scoring chance. They are really bad in all facets of the game.

Their effort level is definitely in question at this point when they are losing to almost every team and look like they don't care.

It is almost like they are purposely tanking to play Toronto in the playoffs and avoid Edmonton.

The Jet's have no answer for McD - we don't have a single Dman that we can match up against him - he chews us up like midget players.
What makes it worse, is our O has now dried up so we lost any chance of at least outscoring the Oilers in a wide open game.

The leafs have shown inconsistency and they can get into a rut - just like us - so why not take your chances against them.

Regardless, if what we see is what we get, the Jet's will get mowed by either of these teams. Our only hope was to have our O talent step up and for Helle to be hot - we have neither. And the same D issues persist and no configuration of our existing talent on the blue line will change that.

Maurice looks like he's ready to throw in the towel - the team doesn't appear to care and he looks like he now realizes it.
His last couple of post game scrums are horrible - you'd almost get the impression he would rather not be coaching this team - period.
He may get his wish.

I really hate the typical fan phrase we hear a lot, " the team has quit on the coach". But to me, it has to be the only thing left here. Either the team has tuned out the coach, doesn't believe the coaches philosophy works anymore, or want this guy fired. Who knows. But it's a far cry from earlier performance

Now they are trying to make things happen off the rush without a play driver.
Any zone time they get is short lived - they either lose it in a battle or they play the perimeter with the shots coming from the blueline - usually one and done. The line is not effective - they now play a soft, lazy game hoping skill will prevail. Skills not enough when you can't win a puck battle or are not interested in getting in one.

Cuz he don't coach them. That's why. But Also cuz maybe it's best they are together so u have 1 floating line instead of splitting them up and having 3. But the problem really Is lack of accountability for all players... I'd hate to be a non CSW player on this team cuz 1 or 2 mistakes and you sit meanwhile the coaches pets don't even get their Ice time lowered.

Maybe the coach has quit on the team. We are a hot mess in all zones. To many players need a new start separated from each other on this team. Terrible chemistry....seems like it’s all negative.
