That's not what he was saying to the other guy. He disagreed with his opinion and then presented evidence to dispute that notion. Then the troll ran away like all trolls do.
And? Trolls have a right to their opinion just as much as anyone else, even if what they believe is wrong.

I never said they didn't have a right to have an opinion, right or wrong and neither did the other guy. I'm just saying he's a troll for being a coward and running away from the discussion.

Kobe was a main reason of why I am such a huge sports fan. His determination and self-criticism to be the best was unparalleled. I watched the NBA because of my enjoyment of seeing him almost perform magic on the court. Countless games you would watch and think that there is no way Kobe will let the Lakers lose the game. From the love I had for basketball it helped me learn to love other sports, including hockey, I hadn't previously before the late 90s.

Posted this on another site but without Kobe I don't think I would have ever been more than just a casual sports fan.

Thank you Kobe, you were my childhood legend. RIP

Lou Gehrig was 37

Roberto Clemente was 38

Thurman Munson was 32

Valeri Kharlamov was 33

Drazen Petrovic was 28

Steve Prefontaine was 24

Kobe Bryant was a bigger global sports icon than everyone on this list except maybe Lou Gehrig. And by a significant margin.

This would be akin to Sidney Crosby suddenly dying four years after retirement.

You know what? When I heard of this earlier today (while I was at work) it was on twitter. The first post I saw I clicked to find out more from the comments, and the first comment was "accused rapist" which pissed me off obviously.

Second post I saw was on my next break at work, by John Tavares paying his respect. First comment "at least he didn't abandon his team"

Seriously? It's gross what people are allowed to say out there in the name of "free speach" and yes I reported both of those comments but nothing will happen from that.

How many people read comments on tweets etc who may be young or just otherwise persuadable, a troll is a troll and bad comments should be dealt with IMO, but I know that's a slippery slope.

It just seems like the companies that run these social media apps..........don't give a **** and well I can imagine it's quite the undertaking to manage every country, language, religion etc etc etc

Social media kinda sucks eh?

Under the last tweet from Kobe there was a comment saying "Unfollowed due to inactivity", just minutes after the news. What's even worse, when people told the person how awful this comment is, a lot come in and just say "come on, it's funny". No it's not. Disgusting.

RIP Black Mamba. What a terrible tragedy. One that was, once again, likely 100% avoidable.....

Why were they even flying???? You look at that fog, read the reports, and look at the weather at the time of the crash, and it's pretty damn obvious there's NO f***ING WAY a helicopter should have been cleared to fly in that... I mean, the police stated that their helicopters had been grounded the entire morning, and into the afternoon, because of unsuitable flying conditions. And yet, a commercial pilot was allowed to take off and fly these families and their children???

But, exceptions are made for celebrities all the time, so it's really not surprising. What a senseless tragedy. One likely caused by arrogance, and terrible judgement. This is both extremely sad, and infuriating at the same time.

It also sucks that he'll never get to be there for his HOF induction and the revealing of his statue. He most likely would've had a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.

That is funny though

Some people have comedic minds who find humour in any given situation, regardless of how tragic that situation may be

And quite frankly, they're not wrong for doing it

I would say Kobe is a way bigger icon than Crosby as well
kobe is levels and levels above crosby

he was a global sports icon. very few athletes are on the level kobe was. lebron, messi, ronaldo, jordan are the others i'd say have the same "global sports icon" status kobe did. there's nothing in recent memory or ever that can even compare to this. i mentioned senna and clemente's deaths as the closest comparison but neither of those guys had the status kobe did

I'd probably put Tiger Woods and Usain Bolt at that level as well

Maybe a tennis star or two like Federer and Serena Williams

Uhh, how many famous comedians have found humour about the accident without expressing sorrow, thus far?
Serious question because I don’t know, but it sounds like you may have come across some.

I have no idea what famous comedians are saying about it

Do you think people have to express sorrow before they're allowed to joke about it?

What if they don't feel sorrow, should they fake it?

I can't stop thinking about them and the ones left behind. Those poor girls. Still shocked.

I remember getting a computer magazin back in the day that happened to have an NBA2003 Demo version on it where you could only play Nets-Lakers. So bye the end of the game Kobe was always like 60 points cause I kept passing him the ball.
Will for ever be a legendery athlete.

Some dumbshit kept yelling at Markelle Fultz to cross midcourt while he was doing the eight second tribute for Kobe.

Edit: I realized the top for some reason didn't post

i HATED Kobe, the ball player.

But I still shouted Kobe every time I took a shot (and missed of course).

That shows how incredible he was. I was tired of every team I rooted for not having someone as amazing as he was. I would tune in just to watch him lose.

As a philly fan, hating Kobe was the cool thing to do, but respecting Kobe was the thing you had no choice but to do.

RIP to not just a top 5 basketball player, but a top athlete in any sport.

This just sucks. Always loved Kobe.

And I bet his daughter for sure woulda made the WNBA to carry on his legacy. The fact that that won’t happen now either makes it even worse.

Such a sad, shocking day. Something I never thought I’d be reading about.
