Yay team! That’s such a better series win than vs the Preds. Confidence building, character showing … etc.

And the depth, my goodness.

Yes. I don't fault our guys for getting swept in 2019, that was a team playing over their heads that ran out of gas. 2020 however sucked. Add to the fact that the Bruins have a shit-ton of fans in this state (saw some dude flying a Bruins and Celtics flag from his house today) and Marchand and Edwards and other stuff, and well, this just feels so awesome. Like a right of passage. A loss today was going to be soul-crushing in more ways than one. I think today this group matured and finally realized the bully has to be punched back.

Also, 13 years to the day that Scott Walker had that OT goal, Max Domi was our hero today. So happy for that guy, always liked him and am happy he came to play when we needed a hero to step forward. Also happy for Raanta, you can see the joy and relief on his face in the post-game interview.

Anyways, sleep happy tonight my friends! Enjoy a beer or two as well.

I’ve long been on the Aho for Captain train once Staal hangs them up or god forbid Rod lets him go, but after a series like that I think Slavin has a better case. Plenty of time but Slavin showed this series he is our best player.
