...and we have him signed for $3.2M until 2029. What a f***ing steal!
Id rather have greig. He suits his role better. I don't think youre winning anything with Rossi in a role he is effective. Just not how to structurally build a team.Rossi is a better player than Greig no doubt about it. Great 2 way center who has a good motor. He’s excellent, and that’s no slight on Greig.
The 2020 draft is hands down the best draft in franchise historyCan't say enough about this kid, he's such a key piece and I love how he plays the game.
Dorion buggered up so many things, but that 2020 1st round draft was absolutely perfect. Was pretty cool seeing the 3 of them combine on the game winner against the Lightning tonight
Still should have picked Peterka and Faber in the 2nd round...Can't say enough about this kid, he's such a key piece and I love how he plays the game.

He's going to get better. Is Greig playing really good hockey right now or is this the new baseline?
It has to be one of the best drafts for any franchise. The 2020 draft is hands down the best draft in franchise history
Craziest thing is if Harley was still available, 2019 would have also been a strong draft with Harley, Pinto, and Kastelic. Harley was the number 1 pick on the Sens scouting list in the late 10s range. In fact Dallas screwed us twice. In 2017, our number 1 pick in the late 20s range was Oettinger...It has to be one of the best drafts for any franchise.
The Stars had the Robertson draft, which was great, but I think you will have to go back to when scouting wasn't so pervasive to get so many top players in 1 draft.
Again, with a slight adjustment and getting Faber or JJ...wow.
He didn't have a great night all-around. Was fighting the puck. Physically was on the receiving end more ofthen than not. And that penalty. I'm chalking it up to learning experience. The whole first half of the game was pretty tight-checking, most players were doing alright as long as they stayed above the puck.I love the hustle Greig brings every shift, but Green needs to get him in check. That penalty he took was beyond stupid and he's lucky the Laffs choked and Cozens came clutch.
If you lose your stick, give a clean body check, but chill on the WWE slam.
Like him or not this guy has been a dawg since Game1 .He gets bad penalties cause refs don't like him like the opponent team.
His hit was a penalty, but the sheer number of missed slashed sticks out of Sens hands (not to mention I think it was Tavares grabbing a stick and tossing it) by the leafs that went uncalled prior to that makes it hard for me to accept it as a call.Man does he owe Gaudette and Cozens beers for the entire summer.

The frustrating part is I think he could have made the same hit without getting that right arm across, and then there's no call (or at least shouldn't be) but oh well.Well, it so insanely blatant to go after a guy without a stick that you know it’s going to get called.
We got lucky.
Sometimes you have to suck it up.
