I'm a Porsche guy, older, aspirated, no power steering and such. I can actually work on them without needing to hook it up to a NASA server.

Nash gets good opportunities still but he almost never finishes them. It's almost as if once he gets lift on a shot he doesn't get velocity and the goalies eat up anything that comes in low.

I would hope he'd get something going if for no other reason to get something decent back for him at the trade deadline.

You can say the same about many older cars. I also like older cars. I like Porsche in some ways but I have never liked the styling of their rear end. Is Nash a Porsche guy? I kind of think of him as a suburban guy lately :D

at this rate we would be lucky to get a second or third rounder for him. A winger on first line and getting powerplay minutes with one damn point. ONE!!!
Funny Pacioretty gets torn up daily in montreal. Now you know why Nash doesn't want to be traded to a canadien market. they would eat him alive if he was putting up these numbers at 8 million dollars in montreal or toronto.

We talk about daily things & what is on the meny this evening - new series on HBO? ..and that can be quite entertaining. Why is`t so silent in MSG these days, and why no new faces in MSG Networks, and meaningful topics like that. :D

I admit I was lazy I order a roasted steak with potato & cheese this friday evening with mushroom - looking for some hockey later this evening, but not decided who to watch yet since Rangers not playing until tomorrow! ))

Nash girl friend was cute in my opinion, but she is not interested in hockey - so she was probably bored in MSG last night. Maybe that explain the quiet atmosphere last night, because we won 5-2. I remember berries (South Park version) that Nash mention this some years ago in an interview - so I quote him on that about his gf. :)
But Nash did not mind at the time since hockey is his job so to speak.

What worries me most about Nash is that he should have a couple of goals at least (I think hes hit something like 6 posts and been stoned a couple of times) which means this is probably his hot streak in the sense that he's active and producing chances.

His lack of production when he he finally disappears is a frightening concept.

If Nash can get up to 15 goals or 35 points by the trade deadline he should bring back a late 1st round pick as a rental.

Yes, I agree @NickyFotiu - there are many games left, but he need to start produce soon to get to 35 pts - hopefully it start tomorrow on the road. And we need to write a list soon - many want him gone now. Did anyone cheer for him after his 1000 NHL games, and that`s a big achievement? It was very silent in MSG last evening. but you can`t blame them - nothing much to cheer about in October.

You are right. It is a pretty strange day when we are talking about Rick Nash reaching 15 goals or 35 points as a good thing (in regards to a trade).

Some older BMW engines are bulletproof.
Come to think of it Nash was a brand of auto back in the 1920s-1930s so Rick Nash might be a Nash fan.

Nick the issue with the BMWs is rarely the engine. The German engine will do things and stuff for 300k miles. The problem is changing the radio station fries the ECU, so it never works when you need it.

Maybe we need a second Rick Nash for parts...

By the way, do you still drive your Model T?
