Players are mandated to go
when you're pretty much the entire team (ok thats a stretch), what are they gonna do? trade him? bench him?
Or if he asks for a night off, you think Sather is going to tell him "No, you are mandated to go. Otherwise some posters on HF will start unfounded rumors. Can't have that, screw your health."
Maybe he just suffers from severe social anxiety disorder and gets severe panic attacks when he's around lots of people in that type of social environment.
This is a stretch beyond all stretches, but **** it. At this point, I will entertain anything until something more definitive, official comes out.

Is it possible he just had prior commitments... He bacane a ranger mid summer and then basically had no contact with the team for months cause of the lockout maybe he booked sonething else?
Nope. Our season is doomed. Fire the players! Trade the coaches!
He sure looked fine when he was scoring that goal yesterday.
Maybe he has a gambling problem?
I don't buy it...Jagr was at every Casino Night and his gambling was well documented.
We'll find out if someone is called up tomorrow morning.
By the way..where was Asham? He looks absent as well.

A social anxiety disorder? Wouldn't that mean he would be looking away from the camera in interviews? He always looks straight at the camera. Feels like he's talking to me.
Asham has back spasms.
Though I do not know Rick Nash, I do know that this is not a stretch at all, and that it could very well be that events such as this are not pleasurable at all for him.
