Maybe that will spark him some more. He's getting there slowly.

Rangers have now 7(?) Olympians. That's pretty good.

I call BS on Yzerman's statement that they watched tons of tape and went to a lot of games.

Nash isnt even close to the player he was in Vancouver.

Hopefully this sparks Nash but I could also see it having the reverse effect - he made the team despite his mediocre play this year over the likes of St. Louis so why change anything?

The same Rick Nash who claimed his play in last season's playoffs was good? He is the worst self-assessor in the sport. He's not changing anything.

Also, I know that Canada is amazing at center, but Joe Thornton leads the league in assists and is having an amazing year.

Seabrook, Boyle, Heatley, Richards, Fatso, MAF, Nieds, Pronger, Iginla, Morrow, Thornton, Staal were on the 2010 team but not the 2014 team.

Canada and Sweden should likely take the gold and silver medals (though not necessarily in that order). The bronze seems a toss-up between the other powerhouses -- excluding Slovakia: USA, Finland, Russia and the Czech Republic.

lots of people POd in the main thread about Nash in and MSL/Giroux left off.

Seriously, how the hell do you leave MSL off the team? HOW????

He could be the most underrated/under-appreciated player of all time.

It's obvious Canada is going for speed and skill over grit and size. At least up front.

They did the same thing in 2006. I think they get pushed around this Olympiad.

Yea not a lot of grit on this team. Canada is banking on an olympics being similar to touch football. Don't agree with some of their picks.
