I liked Frenchies game tonight. Hard work led to nice goal and even drew a penalty when it was thought there would never be one.

Like I said last game thread.... never worry about scoring in the NHL. It’s a up and down thing.... the top teams have more ups.

Strongly disagree. I for one dont care seeing the 4th line playing 10 mins. if it means that the 2nd and the 3rd line play only 14 mins. while Scheif clocks 22 mins.

Much better effort by the team tonight. Still some sloppy play in the NZ including poor gaps by forwards but still a lot better then their recent play:

Helle was very strong tonight.

JoMo and Trouba also played a real strong game against a very good top line.

The rest of the defense played fairly well as well but I would like to see Niku in for Morrow.

The top line had one of their better efforts in a while. Wheeler is still too cute in the offensive zone looking for the perfect play when he just needs to put some pucks on net. I am happy to see Conner get out of his funk.

Laine had a better game and used his body to protect the puck well on Myers goal. Little with a strong all around game. Roslovic started slow but seemed to get more comfortable as the game went on. Nice pass on the Little goal.

The third line was really buzzing around. Lowry and Perrault with real strong nights. Tanev was just ok.

The fourth line was the one line that really didn't do much of anything tonight. They got hemmed in their own end a bunch and bleed shot attempts. I didn't think Appelton brought much of anything. Lemieux was better with his angles but couldn't do much with the puck. I think there is too much in terms of redundancy on that line. There isn't anyone who can drive any offense on that line.

I liked the team effort.

Lowry and Myers were beasting, it’s nice when Myers is playing with confidence. Hellebuyck was fantastic, and good to see Connor score again. Laine and Little were pretty good as well. Scheifele is still in a coma though but he’ll work through it soon enough.
