With all due respect to Bill Simmons, and that certain portion of the Raptors fanbase; if you run it back with the same roster, you're the best team in the East (as well as the deepest).

Two more years on the Lowry contract. I'm fine with running it back both years (and limiting his minutes in an effort to keep him healthy, while giving more to Fred\Delon).

Boston will be pretty strong. Likely a healthy Kyrie and Hayward, plus another year of growth for the young core that was so dynamic this past year. Would not be surprised if they do some series damage

They're also apparently exploring the possibility of Chris Bosh coming out of retirement to join LeBron.

No, he's taking the MLE because nobody wanted to give him max coming off a major surgery. They all wanted to see him healthy again, so he basically said "f*** it" and went to the darkest side.

You don't need to market yourself as a team-carrying superstar to get the max. Mike Conley and DeMar DeRozan got maxed.
 
i hate the NBA now, what a joke league to allow its players to alienate 95% of its fanbase...really its ok for cousins to sign a 5 million dollar deal to join the warriors? they should put asterisks on all the championships since to me they are effectively cheating to win. might not even watch this year honestly. super dissapointing as a fan to know you basically have 0% chance to win a championship! i hope some old school players step up and say what a joke this is :thumbd:

I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m done watching this league, it’s an embarrassment.

Smart move by him. Ride of the coattails of a championship team, hope you fully recover and get a max deal next summer.
