It's called boarding. "The puck was there", "His elbows were down", "The hit wasn't to the numbers" ... None of these have anything to do with boarding.

He didn't touch the puck, so it was interference, but had he touched the puck i don't see that as a penalty.

He's not an "awkward player who makes awkward plays". He's a goon who continues to attempt to injury his opponents. Benefit of the doubt is looooooong gone for this guy.

Every player has to be cautious when they bump or pin someone against the boards and take into account the size differential. Rempe isn't held to a different standard. Jaccob Slavin wouldn't try to pin Connor Bedard against the boards with the same force he'd apply to Ovechkin.

Edstrom - Carrick - Rempe were really good for about 10 games after Rempe's suspension ended
Rempe is definitely the worst of the three, but that line worked until Edstrom got hurt
