I'm sorry but that isn't ANY DIFFERENT to this hit which got NOTHING.

- elbow
- left feet
- took more than 4 strides
- player was unsuspecting and went head first into the boards.

Oh right...jersey is green this time! Got it!

Yes, it's very different. Maybe you're blinded by the blue...

He's absolutely not NHL caliber. Not even convinced he's AHL caliber tbh.
In his draft+2 season, he scored 23 points in 56 games, 12th on his team in scoring for the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Of course he's not AHL caliber. If they outlaw fighting, he won't be a professional hockey player anymore.

I'm being part facetious, I'm sure he does more but basically the highlight of the league understanding around him, he is only known for the suspensions and the misconducts and dirty play. It's all deserved, frankly. He could be a better player if he knows how to control himself. The way Laviolette speaks every time he got misconduct it seems more the NYR egged it on.

If he can't control his game he won't be playing anymore. The next suspension for another elbow will be like 16 games. That's the Raffi Torres/Matt Cooke territory

Ya, you can’t really brag about anything else in his game when he gets kicked out, leaves his team shorthanded- nothing else he did that game is gonna matter. If he were ever actually useful- great, but you can’t depend on a guy who gets an 8 game suspension. Does anyone think Rempe is gonna turn into a decent 4th liner without routinely doing this? If so, I’d love some of that copium.

And Rempe deserved every one of those 8 games, he's a dirty player period. The kid doesn't belong in the NHL anyway, he's not good enough, he can't keep up.
Last season he ranked 87th percentile for top speed in the NHL. He also routinely was clocked at having the fastest top speed in each game at MSG

He was a top 6 player on Hartford, also plays on the powerplay and penalty kill. He led the entire team in even strength goals last season as a 21 year old at the time of his NHL callup in February.

He drew penalties on 3 consecutive shifts in the 2nd period of last game vs Dallas before that hit and had 2 awesome scoring chances including a breakaway where he bulldozed his way through and blew by everyone to the net. This team is very different with him in the lineup vs without him, something like 26-5 with him since his call up and below .500 without him. He has some very unique attributes and I hope he can learn to control his freakish sized frame better so he can reach that potential.

Yes, the guy who drew 3 penalties in the same game he got suspended from can’t play hockey.

Hilarious hearing Devils fans talk about homerism when it comes to Rempe. Your team traded for a plug to deal with him because he rocked a few of your players last season. Your fans are spooked by him.
He can’t play because he’s too stupid to avoid moronic penalties like this. It’s swell that he drew some penalties. He “can’t play” by definition — he’s played 6 minutes or fewer 14 times in his 22 career games. And he won’t be playing for many many games when he does it again.

MacDermid is a Rhodes scholar compared to this caveman.

Pretty sure that Lyubushkin was concussed by the elbow you think didn't connect with his head that drove his face into the boards. Hint. When you are 7 feet tall and you jump...everything is going to be a gd elbow at that point. Even if the chicken wing is down it will still be the thing that's connecting first and driving through your hit.

He's also known, for the beating he took from Oliver

He had 8 goals total in Hartford last season. If he led the team in EV goals, I promise you that says more about Hartford than it does about Rempe.

I love the flourish some of you describe Rempe plays with. “Bulldozed everyone and blew by players” lol. He took a two foot pass and was already behind everyone. He managed to draw a few penalties, instead of incessantly taking them, and you guys make it sound like he split the atom.

Next time he does this shit, he'll get 20+. Just as is should be. You can't be a mental midget in a pro league and refuse to learn anything. RIP the couple NYR fans sucking his jockstrap.

The hit wasn't the same.

The argument now that a player got hurt or the elbow came up doesn't make the hit the same.

Get this POS out of the league, we want to watch players with talent. Not players with rocks for brains who try to end careers.

Yeah, rocked a Devil by elbowing him in the head which gave Jonas a concussion and got Rempe suspended.
