Can't complain about Jacob Trouba anymore, and it's only a matter of time before Rempe realizes pro hockey isn't for him. What on earth will people whine about then?

You’re right, the league should consider adding “social impressions” to the nightly box score so we know where he’s contributing. Maybe an “s-Imps/60” advanced stat?

The more I think about it, the more this is a 1000 IQ play by Drury. Bring up Rempe, have him do something stupid to take the focus off the team's actual play on the ice, let them fly under the radar for like 2 days. Then he gets a 7 game suspension and you're screwed, but still a small reprieve.

The funny thing is going to the Rangers site and seeing a bunch of them defending this guy and saying he is a valuable player for the team . The guy could commit mass murder and he would be defended no matter what by 'some" of their fan base .

He would be defended by the fans of any other team if he played for any other team, and you know it.

“Classless POS” is actually a pretty common descriptor for guys who play 5 mins a game and routinely get ejected/injure people. Not sure I’ve ever heard someone refer to one of those players as a “golden retriever” though.

He's kinda reached that Tom Wilson level where the DOPS may have to say "How many games do we have to give you before you "get it"?"

There's not a hockey alive that doesn't know what hit is wrong and that you don't do that. Completely unnecessary and completely avoidable.

I say 10 games.

Not true. Maybe a small portion. That would be true of any fan base. By and large, some of us try to be objective. I've definitely called Kuch out for being ridiculous when he has one of his tantrums. I'll call it like I see it.

I would not want that POS on my team and I certainly would not defend that crap behavior.

JBB would never have trash like that on the team. Cooper wouldn't have him on the ice either.

That's a Rangers problem. Don't assume every org is run like NYR. They are not.

Hot damn, imagine how many impressions he would get if he committed felonies during the game! What if he killed someone, EVERYBODY would be talking!

What a great mentality for building a business.

That's like, your opinion man.

It's hard to quantify that. SCF last year was very highly ranked, but overall many numbers are not as impressive. Also certain statistics don't show last years playoffs as being the best with viewership much higher in 2013-2015.
