Bah, almost got an under 1% except for Larry.
Petr Nedved played briefly in St. Louis after signing a Group I RFA offer sheet in the spring of 1994. Then he traded to the Rangers that offseason as part of the Mike Keenan. Nedved only ended up playing 19 regular season games in St. Louis.
At the 2004 trade deadline, Phoenix traded Brian Savage to St. Louis for future considerations. There was an agreement that Phoenix would take Savage back in the offseason. So essentially Phoenix traded him for nothing except several weeks of not having to pay his salary.
Sergei Brylin had a single 50+ point season in 2000-01 when he got to be on a line with Scott Gomez and Alexander Mogilny.
The 2003 Devils needed a scoring forward, so I was upset when Grant Marshall was our only deadline acquisition up front. Notably he had 0 goals in 59 career playoff games up to that point. Then he chipped in six goals during that Cup run.
