I finally found the time to create my community game idea! :D

Give it a shot, and see if you can guess the theme, it's really hard though, and will be really satisfying to find out... :sarcasm:

Those percentages, though... :skeptic:

23% on Rivet? 18% on Gaustad? 7% on Atcheynum?

lol... how is Peluso a more common answer for NJ than Broten? Wasn't Broten basically their number one C in that '95 Cup run?
It was a strategic pick - most people associated Broten with DAL more than NJD, and many would pick him for DAL thinking he won the Cup there (he returned there, and retired 2 seasons before the Cup win), which would mean less picks of him for NJD than expected. :thumbu:

Blew a 0 game on the last pick... John MacLean did not in fact play NCAA. I think I was blending him with Randy McKay in my head, who did play college hockey, but did not play for SJ. Boo.

Every player I thought of for PIT and CGY were all drafted (Pechursky, Michel Ouellet, David Jones, Brad Richardson) except Plotnikov + Cervenka, but those seemed too obvious... :help:

(Edit: 0.7% and 0.8% respectively! :biglaugh:)

I'm so bad with undrafted players that I guessed Ryan Donato for the Undrafted/BOS square and then gave up immediately after seeing that wasn't an answer.

For original 6 teams, all you have to do is pick any player who was around before 1970, basically, because the draft has only existed since around then. I got CHI/undrafted once with Stan Mikita

Ahhhh, figured I wouldn't get all of this, but pretty good attempt...

[DET/30A] Craven - didn't realize his time there was so short, and he hadn't broken out yet

[TOR/30A] Ridley - forgot he was there only during the '95 lockout season, and he still managed *checks notes* 27 ASSISTS!!! :pullhair:

Edit: Had Grabovski as another option here, that would also have been funny, with his 28, 29, 25 and 28 assists over 4 seasons with TOR! :biglaugh:

Ugh... I usually own games where you have to name players who hit certain statistical milestones with a team. I messed up with Hudler for DET/40 assists (highest assist total with Detroit was 34) and Viktor Kozlov for NYI/30 assists (he had 26 his one season there).

Ugh, this sucked. Although I do appreciate a challenge, if it's not just "who played for who", I always find it very hard... 450 assists is a lot!

Screwed up with Andre Boudrias, he played a lot outside the NHL, and wasn't as good for as long as I thought...

Can't believe those %s on Damphousse, Primeau and Wheeler! :help:

Edit: never in a million years would have guessed that Craven, Ridley, Boldirev, Schneider, Babych, Cassels, Janney, Gary Suter, or Stumpel had 450+ assists, wow! Guess it's not as hard as I thought...

haha... your boy Nycholat screwed me over. I thought he played for BOS for some reason.

I think the game itself also screwed me today. I put Garland for the VAN/Phil Kessel teammate square. They were teammates in ARI and Garland now plays for VAN, so WTF?

Odd, that should have worked. Also, based on past experience, you can also get valid answers for players who were teammates outside the NHL, so Ryan Miller should work, but if so, no one has picked him!

Forgot Vinny Prospal only played for FLA from Jan-April in one season... Wasn't he their second leading scorer anyway? :biglaugh:

Ugh, screw off with this one! :biglaugh:1200+ games is a lot of games...

[LAK/1200g] Glen Murray - lots of injuries, but I thought for sure he played long enough...

[DET/1200g] Dallas Drake - too many missed games, again!

[DET/1200g AGAIN] Thought I was better served with a second try at this rather than 500 PIMs for DET - David Legwand and his 1136 career games had other ideas... :pullhair:

Pretty impressed and surprised that I was able to keep my score under 10 here. I had some name guys on the board (didn't do this with Jeff Farkas and Adam Mair calibre players).
