Also, I'm not sure why I hallucinated Jesse Joensuu playing for CAR...

And for this game, I hallucinated Marco Sturm being captain of the Sharks? Why do I have such vivid memories of him wearing the C? Mentally getting one #19 confused for another?

Edit: HAHAHA, didn't even realize the rules were restricting this to players who were captain of the KINGS. I had Iginla, Smyth, Jokinen, Phaneuf, Lecavalier, etc... all on my list, would have been very confused if I picked one of them!

I've been playing Immaculate Grid (in addition to Puckdoku).

Immaculate Grid seems to refresh at 9AM EST daily. I think I was the first person in the world to choose a player in this category a few days ago: Boston Bruins & Hall of Fame. I was shocked that this relatively obscure player had a 100% vote share:

Eh... would have liked a better score with some of the names I pulled out for this one... been waiting on OTT/BOS for a while since I discovered that Kekalainen played for both teams, but cannot believe how many also picked him! 1.3%, seriously???

Who would have thought Blum would be such a better pick than Finley for NSH?

Also, props to anyone who thought to go with Zhitnik, Zhamnov and Zholtok, the alphabetical synergy of that is worthy of jealousy!

Blew it on the last pick with Cammalleri for EDM/50+ playoff games, really odd that he's only played 32, but he did miss out on some decent runs just barely (EDM in '17, CGY in '15)

I also had that oh-so-fun experience where I knew a guy that played for both team, his face was in my mind, knew he would be a low score, but could. not. remember his. name. I got as far as being reasonably certain his initials were T.K. Turns out I was thinking of Todd Krygier (WSH/ANA), who only ended up 0.1% less than Brendan Morrison anyway!

Ah, there we go, more like my usual pattern - 0 after picks, then the stupid NJD/NSH square, which I thought of Dunham and Volchenkov (0.8%, dammit!) for also, but didn't think would necessarily be a lower score, and PIT/2+Round drafted also was tough, could have done Hallander too, but again wasn't sure he wouldn't be higher... Oh and of COURSE, I thought of Muzzin, but wasn't sure if it would count a guy who never played NHL games for the drafting team... Ditto on Moulson and Addison.

Quite the all-name team I have assembled here!

Also, AHHHH, was thinking of Snow for PIT/3 SO, but he was only there for 1 season, so I figured it was too risky

On the plus side, managed to avoid getting Jake Dowell and Justin Dowling confused, was close for a bit there!

This was one of those "ok, got one wrong, might as well go riskier... oh none of those worked!" kind of games

[120+ Pts/10+ PO goals] Nicholls (he scored 70 goals and 150 points in '89 and his team went 2 rounds, yet he somehow only put up 7 goals in the POs )

[120+ Pts/500 games] Should be literally all 120+ point scorers ever, but I had the fortune of trying to score lower, and picked Barry Pederson, who topped out at *checks notes* 116 POINTS!!!!!

[10+ PO goals/5+ teams] Bill Guerin (knew he went on a couple runs to the finals, and as a goal scorer, surely he........ topped out at 7, twice )
