I'm laughing my ass off reading their boards, I never knew a little chant could effect so many people.

One guy said he had to mute his TV because he couldn't stand the fans, love it.

I wore my leafs jersey and took it like a man. Some guy in front of me stood up and cheered when kessel scored for 5-2, I didn't give him the time of day.

Leafs were terrible, the Jets deserved the win. Great game from them all around

Why do they care so much? After all according to their GDT and PGT we are just a bunch of drunken, inbred, rednecks who live in the coldest, crappiest city in the world that doesn't deserve to have an NHL team which they assure us is moving in the near future. Also we're really classless.:snide:

Hey, what a night! Sorry, but Burmistrov wasn't at all missed out there. There were no passengers at all this evening. Andrew Ladd played a freakin' heavy game. Antro! James Wright, what a pickup, OMG. Buff, yikes, awesome game.

The Jets played a heavy team game, lots of puck support. Nice puck movement at times, great pk too. They just played well as a unit for a change, as a team rather than a bunch of individuals.

Whooooo!

Yep 3 tie breaker games coming up. Rangers, Toronto, Ottawa. Win them all and we will make the playoffs if we tie any of them for the 8th spot.

My favourite game all year.
I had a number of very positive experiences with Leaf fans, and unfortunately a couple bad ones as well.
But in terms of crowd atmosphere and play on the ice tonight was awesome. The entire game I was on the edge of my seat, seriously stoked about this game.

Would have been nice to have Peluso out there at the end of the 3rd. Carlyle would have watched McLaren get a beating.

It must be said... I don't think everyone had a good game...

Jokinen was suspect...
I think some of the lack of production is just luck (read: variance) but...
Only minus player on the team.
Against one of the worst possession teams in the league he was outchanced (or par) against every player on the entire Leafs squad except one, 2:0 vs Komarov.
Heck against McClement he was 1:6 and McLaren he was 3:6... he got out possesed/chanced by their terrible goon line....

Being second lowest in EC in possession and scoring chances and shots against per minute means it likely (but not definitely) will.

That's the point of the "Regression" above.

I love it. They can hate the numbers, they can argue with the numbers, they can not believe the numbers... but the numbers don't lie.

Looking forward to the progression of the regression!

Agree, though not for lack of effort. He just looks like he's really fighting the puck, for lack of a better term. I hoping that things will start going his way for the stretch run.

Take it easy on their fans guys. It must be scary seeing their team travel from the Centre of the Universe all the way out to the distant colonies and wind up getting their ***** kicked.

When did Leafs fans start considering their team as elite? They've been overachieving till this point and are finally realizing they're cheering for a team of AHLers lol.
