Not our best game, but 5-1 edge in power plays? Yeah, the refs were a factor in this loss. Biggest issue was some boneheaded plays by our defencemen, especially Brodie. Rielly didn’t have a very good game either. And then there was Tavares. He’s not injured so it was pure awful play. Samsonov could have bailed out his team mates but some goals were weak. The team was flat all night. Onto the next, let’s see how they respond.

Keefe may be a big reason we don't get calls. Even if he was right to lip off there, refs clearly sick of his complaining.
"lip off" Come on lmao Keefe barely said anything, that was hands down the worst ejection I've seen in the NHL. Ref made another BS call, got called out for it, Keefe wasn't even yelling at him, and decided to throw him out of the game.

Not a great game but the refs really never let us have a chance anyway, that was a very poorly officiated game.

They come to Toronto and think people are there to see them.

Unfortunately the blind Ref thought it was
Besides the missed call, poor effort from the entire team. I thought this was Samsonov’s worst game since he came back from his hiatus. Matthews and the rest of the core were non existent. Oh well, on to the next.

Hopefully Woll gets the next start

Not a good game at all but it happens. Vegas is a good team and the refs were amazing as always.
On to the next Keefe. Need to start another streak

Liljegren was definitely missed in this game.
When he is playing well, he really helps stabalize our blueline and potentially setup a nice second pairing.
We don't have alot of puckmoving ability from the backend and he's someone who can both skate the puck out of trouble and pass.

Says it all

Meh not concerned. Was bound to lose again, especially aginst the champs afterr we beat them last week

Gotta bounce back

Leafs didn't have their A game tonight, but no chance once you factor in the reffing. McMann called for tripping after he blows a tire or was tripped himself - I've never seen that before. Marner taps the shin-pad in the last 5 min, and the guy just falls over - could easily call embellishment there. Very weird game.

Wasn't the greatest of performances

Boys have been playing well but just didn't have it tonight, long season so it's going to go that way some nights but the last 7 wins in a row make it hurt a little less

I don't think Rielly and Brodie should play together again, get Liljegren back for Brodie and let's find a RD to look after MO

Rielly is a great player but he is a river boat gambler, he needs a partner that's going to help him cover over some of his weaknesses

Not exactly a championship caliber lineup, Vegas is very middle of the pack without Stone, Eichel.

In my experience, a red reacts like that when what he is being called out for is accurate and he knows it. It's weak. Be better.

Officiating was very one sided, but the team stink regardless and deserved the loss.

It only matters of they do not bounce back on Thursday.

Even without without Stone, Eichel Vegas can out work any team on a good(bad) day.

That goes for the Zebras to.

Vegas' forward group looks like an expansion team roster with Byron Froese, Paul Cotter, Mason Morelli, Sheldon Rempal, Mike Amadio playing. But they just played a basic road game, had their D take up a bunch of room and got a nice road win.
