Haven't watched a minute of Leafs hockey in 2 years, tune in the second Luke Schenn fails to clear the puck and the Bruins score. Lmao
you haven't missed shit in the last f***ing decade

these f***s have zero pride

even when we get warriors, they wear the jersey and they becoem complete f***ing puss boys

Unfortunately didn't see much until end of the second but seems like they played great. Shitty ending.

Ready to be hurt again lol but hopeful... looks like Tampa is going to lose so let's get ready for home ice.

On to habs... last home game of the season.

Another thing... I know Matthews hasn't really scored much with Bunting/Jarnkrok but that line is driving play really well and Matthews is getting tons of chances, he can carry his own line.

If Nylander shows up, put him beside ROR and have 3 great lines.
I thought that line came to play tonight. I really thought it was the PP that let us down a bit.

What a bunch of ticky tacky calls in favour of BOS, even the one in OT was a box out in front of the net. BOS did the same thing near the end of the 3rd period to prevent a Leafs goal, of course no call. I've also never seen the refs reverse a call after watching it on the jumbotron. They already met, made the call. Then met again and reversed it...clown world.

On another note, if this is the Luke Schenn we are getting in the playoffs then he shouldn't be playing game 1. Keefe will probably ignore his turnovers because he isn't Liljegren.

I don’t know man giving up a late tying goal and then losing in OT, sounds familiar.
I get you. But we had a lousy call in OT against a team having a historic season. Our round 1 opponent, meanwhile, is getting destroyed by the Islanders.

I'm feeling just a little bit confident.

The more time goes on the more he turns into Babcock. If Pittsburgh fires Sullivan we need to snatch him immediately

After a PP -> ZAR - Kampf - Lafferty go
After a PK -> Matthews - Tavares - Nylander go

It isn't hard... if they were 5v5 all game that would look different.

Ultimately Beating the bruins in the playoffs will be our 2004 ALCS moment, when the Red Sox finally defeated the hated and powerful Yankees after painfully losing to NY in the playoffs for so many years. And you know what the Red Sox did after beating the Yankees and advancing to the world series ;)

Pretty typical of Boston leafs game. The bruins are the darlings of the league right now. Saying that. Mo was out of position and that hook in OT was the right call.

I have thought since Matthews' first season, he can play with anyone... he has a Malkin/Crosby effect where if you give him two plugs (Hyman/Brown first year), they will still dominate.

I want them to spread out the talent on all three lines.

Yeah but the bookies love it

Reffing was good until they reviewed the last call and changed their minds, that is not allowed, they broke the rules in favor of the other team. Other than that (not a fan of Coyle's dive, but whatever) it was a well-reffed game.
Did they review it, or did the other ref intervene and overrule the call? Are they not allowed to defer the call to the other ref?

This comment is coming from someone who thinks the team is soft as butter: Luke Schenn is not the answer you think he is
