Ref blatantly influences outcome of game.

Are you time traveling from 6 hours from now after the refs hand the Super Bowl to the Chiefs ?
I'm not planning on watching the game but my machine is available for rent if you want to go.
If you're interested you can come by and see it at Apt 4A 2311 North Los Robles Avenue, Pasadena, California

Why do people make these ridiculously titled threads? Alternative version “Calgary player takes penalty in overtime”.
It's the truth but it happens every night.

Yeah, the refs usually blatantly influence the outcomes of games by calling penalties, that's their job.
They influence almost every game with bad calls and ignoring penalties, If they called the games properly they are not influencing games, they are allowing for the proper result.

It’s a make up call for the cross check that resulted in a scoring chance for the flames. Check the clip at 1:18.

You know.. if an the interference call had been made earlier I wouldn't have a problem with it. It was clear interference. But this make up call garbage is bull shit. Make the call if it's deserved but don't look to make a call based on something that happened in the past. Refs shouldn't have the power to significantly alter the outcome of a game because they are trying try correct their previous mistake. ... Especially in OT. Put your whistle in your pocket.

Sometimes I miss the days before social media and the internet. “That call was sketchy, right? Oh well.”

End of discussion

Sketchy calls shouldn't be made in OT. Put away the whistle unless its something blatant. Can we agree on that to end the discussion?

That would make it worse IMO. That looked like a pretty clear dive.

Almost falls flat on his face from what would have been one of the weakest cross checking penalties I've seen in the last decade. He just took the exact same cross check five seconds before, and so did Weeger from Beniers, and it didn't phase either of them.

Just my opinion, but if you're gonna dive in the D zone for a penalty in OT, when the other team has the puck, you deserve to lose the game.
