Wonder if Minnesota missing out on Okposo and buying out Vanek means they're interested in one of Detroits wingers.

Fowler/Tatar seems like the most reasonable deal. Not too sure what's happening with Barrie.

Here's the problem with Tartar and the Ducks...they just don't put 5'10" wingers in their top 6. Just not a fit especially with him being an RFA in a year.

No. Staal is an awful defensemen and is signed for more years and more money.

He really isn't, people lump Girardi and Staal together for some reason. Girardi sucked last year, played with a bum knee. Before that he was a valuable D.

Staal is as good as he ever has been. But he has shared a left side with McD and Yandle and just haven't had a big enough role. He was super solid when McD missed time late last season. He is what 29 y/o.

You're on the right track but the add is on the Detroit side. AA is still relatively unproven and Fowler steps in as your #1 LHD.

We are definitely not in agreement over Fowler's skill level.

Mark Stuart, veteran grit, shot-blocking, likes to try to force the play at his own blue line and often misses - leaving his partner horribly exposed to odd-man rushes. Come and get it!

Just PR because everyone in Detroit is pissed at Holland now. Nothing has changed.
