When are they signing Seider and Raymond.
What will they get ~16 million between them, on a long term?

We will sign:
- Seider 8.5M
- Raymond 7.0M
- Veleno 1.6M
- Berggren 1.1M
Really hope they can trade Veleno - a trade involving him and Holl would be spectacular. We need one more D-man and enough space to allow Mazur/Danielson/Kasper getting serious looks

So the cap left is around $20 mil at start of june and still has to sign the 3 rfa's. SY seems to want to wait til the last moment. Watching the Kane negotiations made me shake my head.
Anyway why is this taking so long ? I get the sense it is a slow moving train wreck lol.
Honestly believe this is as close to the roster as possible. Would still rather veleno get's traded, just not positive that tarasenko is going to play with a complete rookie. Could see kasper getting first call up, copp going in that 3c position and motte with fischer and ras, so essentially this:If Tarasenko is 3RW, who plays the top 6 winger? I’d love to see this.
Danielson - Larkin - Raymond
Debrincat - Compher - Kane
Berggren - Veleno/Kasper - Tarasenko
Rasmussen- Copp - Fischer

Means absolutely nothing, we have no idea what is going on with all contracts that need to be done.Kinda glad to see seider signing take a while. It means Detroit isn't just backing up the cash dump truck. Get him on something that helps Detroit long term.

I don't
TBH I'm not concerned with either Seider, or Raymond signing...May have to overpay a tad, but likely they're long term deals I'll be happy.RFAs historically take time, can't make a player sign a contract. It's likely Yzerman has a bridge deal and a max term deal for both and they are going back and forth on prices. Regardless he has an internal cap for both situations, or if one goes short and one long...etc. The least of the worries should be if those guys will be signed.

Byfield has size and a theoretical positional advantage, but so far Ray has been better, and not by a little, the last three seasons. And even with size, it's not like Byfield is a bruiser. Ray is just about as physical.Hope similar to Raymond
