4 years might as well BE forever tbh. We have seven guys from 4 years ago still on the team today (including the entire 4th line, hilariously), and three of them are pretty bad

PP is great, but we have Luke for that. Nemec should be good 5on5 defenseman.
and that's why he needs to be traded ... he defintely deserves to play 1st PP unit ... Sure, there's Luke Hughes who will be a priority regardless of whether he will be better or not. Maybe if he was American and had an elite-level brother. I always said that NJ would be a bad destination for Nemec

If he’s better than Luke on the PP, he’ll play over him. If he isn’t, he won’t. It has absolutely nothing to do with nepotism or nationality. Nemec just probably won’t end up being as dynamic offensively as Luke. There’s nothing wrong with that. Nemec has his own strengths.

I actually think Nemec could be a better PP QB than Luke, and that’s no disrespect to Luke. Nemec’s poise, IQ and passing scream PP QB to me. They’ll both get time and there’s nothing wrong with having 2 strong PP units. Maybe even one with 2 D-men.

For what reason? To help somebody’s fantasy team?

ask my dude whether he’d rather be anchoring 5on5 on a great team or playing PP1 for somebody else and I’m sure I know what he’d say.

He will play second pp time unit. Or even first when he will be ready. He is perfect for Devils and Devils for him. He fit the window, he will have great partners, after few years he will play in first pair with Luke, he will win a lot of play off games an Devils will build great franchise with good history with him in the roster. It’s a logic that should lead Tampa to trade Sergachyov few years ago.

It’s not a problem, build two pp brigades around Jack as 1-30 per 2 min.

Dude turned it around so much from the beginning where you could dee flashes but also saw a lot of raw things needing to be refined. Also, if he had pp1 time he’d be producing even more which is insane.
He's adapted really well. There'd always be an adjustment period. 18 year old D-man coming to North America for the first time is never easy. Super glad he's doing well, he's a legit prospect and he seems like a great kid with a great attitude. Embraced playing in the AHL at the start of the year.

Now up to 12G, 2A, 34P in 65 games. 0.52 PPG.

His scoring improved, particularly him skating deep into lanes for the shot, whereas last season he was mostly throwing wristers from the blue line through traffic.

Really insightful analysis about Nemec and Jiricek by @evnted . A strong recommendation, also for the fans of Jiricek.

You are so funny dude, thanks for a good laugh! Regenda, Rousek, Zohorna, Ruzicka, Galvas all are better than many guys on their NHL teams roster yet they are used only when some american, canadian or swedish pylon is injured. Especially what was happening with Zohorna was disgusting.

No idea what you’re even talking about. But okay man, sounds good. Thanks for the input.

None of those guys can even hold Nemec’s jockstrap so idk what you’re getting at.

Good laugh tho
