OHL getting even better prospects wise. The quality of potential 1st rounders is just getting unreal.
Looked good last night I though. He's pretty good at getting pucks on net, and keeping them low for tip-ins/rebounds/deflections.
Where's the love for this guy? PPG in the OHL right now, first season in the league. Seems like he's playing great!
I don't know if I'd call him undersized. 6'0 215, maybe a Drew Doughty sort of build? I've never seen him play, so who does he play like?

Hockeydb has him listed as LW? Has he been playing forward at all this year?

Hynh said he's NOT undersized..
Is he RH or LH? Does he play physical at all? Have a big point shot?
So I've watched this kid a couple times this year and I have to ask, why isn't he ranked higher? I've become a big fan of his, he seems like the total package calm, offensive, solid build (at least 210 lbs).
I've read some people say skating is an issue and others say he is a great skater based on what I've seen I woudn't say it's amazing but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a fault either. Can someone who has watched him more often give me their opinion?
He seems like a potential steal for the draft and one of those guys that GMs ask themselves in the future, why didn't we pick this guy? But maybe I overrate him.
Righty.
Could it be that parts of his skating are good and other parts are bad?
I've seen Rasmus play live a few times this season and anothe 5-6 games on TV, and I like what I see from him. He is not overly big in height but looks to have a solid build to him, he doesn't get pushed around on the ice. He isn't very physical and that is one area I would like to see him improve upon, but it's not a glaring hole in his game. His skating is around average I would say, he has a fairly smooth stride but just lacks the footspeed at this point, but I definitely see this improving with time.
The thing I love about him is his poise and vision, along with his great shot from the point. He is very smart with the puck and makes great outlet passes on the breakout, but can also carry the puck up ice as he is a confident player. He is very smooth in the offensive zone, and spreads the puck around very well. He has a bomb of a shot from the point, and he gets it on net more often than not. If his skating was better and he played with a little more jam in his own end I would have no problem selecting him in the 15-25 range in the draft, but realistically I see him more as a late first-early second round pick at this point.
For the Swedish posters who might not be familiar with other defenseman in the OHL, I'm sure you guys know Anthony DeAngelo. I would prefer Andersson on my team over DeAngelo, both offensively minded defenders, but a guy like Andersson has a lot more defensive upside which makes up for the 10 or so less points. Not a stab at DeAngelo but just a comparison.
Him and Tobias Lindberg should have been parts of the Swedish WJ team IMO.
Any updates on Rasmus? Any particular reason that he's now ranked the 84th NA prospect, while putting up PPG numbers in his first season in the O? Stats seem great, but there obviously is something going on with him that causing his draft stock to fall so drastically.
