I like seeing him get NHL TOI. It will only help him to get better, and give him ideas on what to work on when he goes back down to the AHL. If the Wild are healthy he will not be cracking the D lineup, except as a #7D, possibly, and you don't want a young guy sitting the pine instead of playing top pairing minutes down in Iowa.
Right now, he's 25% good, 25% bad, and 50% an awkward in between. With work and maturity a lot of his issues will be fixed, but am not so sure about his mental game. He seems to be trying to do the right thing for most of the game, but has periods where he reminds me of Matt Dumba, and i don't mean the good Matt Dumba. I'll put it down to youthful exuberance.
