This is kinda it right here. Billions of football fans the world over got used to it, I’m sure we’ll be okay. I am mildly grateful we made it this far without the jersey ads.

its not the same thing, the jerseys of the football teams change every year. They know it will be a different design. Also they make sure that the sponsors logos blend in with the jerseys. They don't simply add an ugly patch, the color pallet used is the same across the board.

There's already so many adds everywhere, bet99 this bet99 that scored by Dodge Caravan, save of the CocaCola. The only place fans didn't want ads were the jerseys. "f*** the fans, i'm already a multi millionaire but f*** all of you, I want an extra Lambo to match my 8 Ferraris" - Molson, probably.

This is false...I cheer for Chelsea FC, their kit sponsor is the British Telecom Company "3" and their "3" logo is huge and takes up the entire front of their kit, meanwhile the club badge is tiny.

I'm still tuning in at 3pm to watch them play Champions League today though and i'm gonna love every second of it too.

It's also the same for several other teams...so yeah...

In 5 years tops every single major sport team will have a few on their gear. It is what it is, it's the way the sport world is headed and people better start getting used to it real quick. At least it's not freaking Bet99 or some dick pill company being advertised on our shirts. I'll take the small win there I guess.

Not sure equipment companies will allow other logos on their gear or did you just mean gear in the general sense, like shirts, shorts and socks?

I mean I'm a documented RBC ad hater but I don't understand why I'm supposed to think the Real Madrid or other soccer ads are less intrusive. Giant corporate sponsor that takes the place of the team crest is still way way worse than what we're getting from the Canadiens so far.
