Bill Guerin probably has the record with 7 teams:
New Jersey (23,25,29 goal seasons)
Edmonton (24,30 goal seasons)
Boston (28,41 goal seasons)
Dallas (25,34 goal seasons)
St. Louis (28 goal season)
New York Islanders (23 goal season)
Pittsburgh (21 goal season)

Other notables:
Mike Gartner scored 32+ goals for 5 different teams
Brendan Shanahan scored 29+ goals for 5 teams
Steve Thomas scored 26+ goals for 5 teams
Ray Ferraro scored 25+ goals for 5 teams
Jaromir Jagr scored 24+ goals for 5 teams
Russ Courtnall scored 23+ goals for 5 teams
Dean Prentice scored 23+ goals for 5 teams
Pat Verbeek scored 22+ goals for 5 teams
Dave Andreychuk scored 20+ goals for 5 teams
Wilf Paiement scored 20+ goals for 5 teams

This covers all players in NHL history with at least 9 seasons of 20 or more goals. Doubtful there are any other notable names beyond that.

Tangentially related fact I learned researching this, Gordie Howe has the NHL record for most 20+ goal seasons at 22 (out of 26 seasons he played in the NHL). The only seasons he failed to score at least 20 goals were his first 3 seasons (ages 18-20 where he didn’t play the full year in any of them) and his final season when he was 51. Pretty remarkable consistency. Ovechkin would need 3 more seasons to tie him.

There are obscure records.
I dunno.
I do know he was nothing special. He was a journeyman scorer - heck not even that. A Mike Gartner had great wheels and twice the production but played the same role.

You put Ray away from the dot, passed to someone else and fed him in the slot.

So ChatGPT still not able to do this well, the recent model has gotten a lot better at handling these sorts of questions, the 3 models were completely useless, the 4o model is much better and can at least handle the question, but it usually spews wrong answers.

Random factoid: In January 1994, Sheppard was the NHL's second leading scorer, behind Gretzky:

Jan. 1994
26 PTS -- Gretzky
24 PTS -- Sheppard
