The principle of match times being affected is the same though.

Every single Takeover is a tremendous 2.5 hour show with a 5 match card. Add 2-3 more matches and suddenly all these matches are rushed, even if you go a full 3 hours to compensate. The show suffers regardless, and the stories told suffer.

We love takeover because it makes us want more. We cant wait for the next takeover, and the weekly shows are still absolute quality week in and week out. It sticking to 5 matches is ideal to me.

I don’t want more than five matches because then you have to limit the time of matches. We ***** about Wrestlemania. NXT can carry feuds over and pay them off on TV or at the next Takeover. I want them to keep 5 matches, 6 absolute tops.

The card is looking so good I might go to Toronto solely for NXT, but All Out is also calling my name.

Riddle is going to be in NXT for “a long time” and that’s why Gargano is getting the title match in Toronto. They don’t feel the need to rush Riddle.

I can easily watch three hours of NXT Takeover. But a not a second more or less. It has to be exactly three hours.

Takeovers have almost felt too short recently so it doesn't matter to me.

Again, it's incredible if they're (or Hs) not pitching a weekly show (taped or live) to USA or Fox. I know that the audience is there.

See but this is what happened with their old ECW brand. Once you do that, the network starts having a say in what your show carries. Having it on the Network gives people a reason to get the Network and a way they can maintain full control of the product.

Depends on what you're pitching to the networks. If you insist that they (WWE) will control what is on the show and a network still wants it, then you have a winner. They could even do a two hour show where the first hour is the taped one on the WWE Network(exclusively) and the second is a live show on the tv network (this could be 90 minutes due to the commercials).
