So, there's both a Clash AND a Bash coming up? Paul is scrambling to put PPV-worthy matches together.

WWE needs to axe about half of those events.

I didn't think I've ever seen a more telegraphed turn than that. Cody looks like a chump falling for that.

On the other hand, I f***ing love when they play it straight like that despite how obvious it was.

There's way too much winking and nodding going on for my liking, so it was nice to see them play it more old school.

It’s taking too long again, just like anything wise they’ve tried to do with this. I’m sure I’ll think different when it actually happens, and they actually do something, presumably interesting, but right now it isn’t because they’re taking too long to get there.

I don't know if the build up has been too long or not however whenever he/they debut things needs to happen. Meaningful things. When Bray returned it was mostly him in the ring talking as if he didn't need a feud to exist. We would simply be happy to see him in the ring week after week even if he didn't do much. Yes, stuff happened, but it felt like it happened at a snail's pace. Yes, you could say the feud was with himself, inner demons, whatever, but it felt like it was all style and little substance.

As I was typing and thinking of future PLEs it dawned on me that Toronto had The Fiend's first match so maybe it will also have the first match of Howdy and/or whomever debuts with him. Debut at Clash at the Castle then first match a couple weeks later. I don't know if it's going to work but a lot of effort has been put into the build up so hopefully the payoff is worth it.

Edit….since no one has replied to my comment this unrelated post was added.

I don’t know the meaning of this post but since it’s from the seemingly never happy and/or possibly under-utilized Andrade it’s interesting or funny to see.

I liked Bo back in the Bo-lieve days, but have a hard time seeing this thing succeed with Bray gone, is Howdy going to be another unstoppable monster like the fiend?

Nobody wants to say it but it was going to be bad with Bray, too.

People didn't even like to say it when he was alive, because he was incredibly likable and everybody respected that he was always trying something new and different... But everything Bray did had a shelf life and outside the initial backwoods cult-leader gimmick, the shelf life was extremely short.

This is shaping up to be a parody tribute of a bad act performed by a generational talent... Except Bray is dead and the bad act is now being performed by average talents.

With no disrespect meant to anybody involved, I fully expect that the act is bad from the start, the talents who have to feud with them look like goofs, it gets dragged out way too long by the company out of respect for Bray and his peers, and fans don't want to shit on it out of respect for Bray and his peers, resulting in the worst possible fan reaction, which is indifference.
