I don't understand any grade but an A.
They had 2 needs going into the deadline a 3rd line center and a top 4 D.
Not only did he acquire both, but both have term and he acquired both without giving up anything off their roster which I thought they would have to do..
I don't like moving Grebs, or Minten, or the 1sts but as much as I would have liked to have gotten Laughton and Carlo for some combonation of Reaves, Timmins Dewar and a 7th that was never going to happen.
to get quality you need to give up quality, look at Tampa, Florida, Vegas and Colorado they don't care about the future they pay the price to bring in the good players.
Now the team is set on defense, set in net, pretty much set at LW, not quite set at center but you got your #1 center and #3 center secure.
the only position where there might be questions is RW.
and even RW still has Nylander on it.
the team has 30+ million in cap space so you can sign Boesser, or Ehlers, or sign Mitch whoever it is.
you still have Cowan and Danford to trade if you need to trade for a winger.
point is the team looks solid for the next 3 years at least and it's all because of what Brad did yesterday.

Sure. He just wasn't good enuff to hold that job in bloody Philly, of all places. Whatever - hope the change of scenery finds him back in good form, but it sure ain't no f'in guarantee, that's for damn sure.
Well he better picc his game up Robertson was out playing him and I’m sure chief knows that so well see

Domi is basically the only leafs player with who robertson had succes... Should he be really to loose his spot for him?
reinhart, granlund, paul, schmaltz, rnh, zagras... just couple of c find pretty fast who's actually playing as winger. Do that mean they are not good wnough to play C, not at all just their coach prefer to use them on wing for different reason
If the coach prefers to use them that way, then yes actually - seems you've answered your own question.

so if you took take... Draisaitl who played a lot at the beggining on mcdavid shouldn't be able to come back as a C because he was used a winger by his coach?
Robert Thomas who started his carreer at wing shouldn't never played as C
Tomas Hertl, Jt miller who played a lot on wing in his carreer shouldn't play right now as C
Monahan who had been used a lot on suzuki wing shouldn't be a Center...
You've got a lot of player able to play as much center than wing
Cool.. but if you can't hold the job in Philly - it just doesn't bode well..
We can talk about it in the future when he becomes Foligno Pt.2, but until then - I hope for the best for him too.. just woulda liked Nelson or so many others and Tre and You would've too. Off ya go, now.

Nelson had been traded at 2,5x laughton price for 2X less time with a cap hit 2X higher who would made impossible any carlo trade to help the D

Oh i didn't know GM traded for player to look good game 63 in a new system, new teammate with who he having no chemistry at all.
On both goal it was more miscommunication between C and D than anything else.

I was going up it to a A- for the ask.
After watching last night. Dropping it to a B- from a B because Morgan and Domi are still on the team. I swear both of them will be able to lose a series for us. It's that bad
