That's a crazy stat but to be fair mostly that's just playing a lot of minutes in bad teams. It's even more crazy dude has a 16-year professional career and has never played in a team which had a positive goal differential over a season.
Plus and minus is a horrible stat, but in this case it's pretty accurate.

Something interesting about all this is Ristolainen probably made more money by playing as a #1D in a bad team than he would've if he had played most of his career in a good team, in a role more suited for him.
That's a crazy stat until you realize he was a big reason why those teams never had a positive goal differential.
I was thinking this was implying he was actually going to play for the Finns in the WC's.
