Sucks to see Kupari get hurt. It does make the answer of who sits for vilardi? easier though as it was bw him and Barron for me.
Jesus, 2 down 1 to go or what ? Our LA guys are having some bad luck with injuries . Hopefully Valardi is back very soon.
AjF has already been recalled. Best to leave Brad down to continue to work on his game then to play 6 to 8 minutes per game on the fourth line.

Typical Jets. First it was 4-6 weeks. Now, already the story is changing. It's up to 4-7 weeks.

Hope not. Lambert needs to play big minutes and put up points at the pro level. Riding the 4th line is not gonna do him any good, compared to playing 18 minutes a night with the Moose including top PP time. I would only bring up Lambert/Chibrikov if there was role for them in the top-9.

Damn the first thing I saw was that post from last November saying he'd be out 4-6 weeks.
Hopefully that goal was the knife in the ketchup bottle and Kupari scores a bunch more.

If Kupari has a good shot, is it just his hockey IQ that's keeping him off the board? What is the thing he needs to improve on the most for things to "Click"?
I think his release and accuracy to be honest.
He can get to the right places, he has good hands, but oftentimes he takes too long to shoot which results in a block or the goalie getting set, and he also doesn't seem to be able to pick his spots very well.

One thing I've noticed that Kup does very well is puck protection. Positions himself between the defender and the puck and buys a second to make a good play

IMO, he doesn't get to the net or middle ice very often - he's decent along the walls and can make plays on the outside but you rarely see him in the thick of things in the middle ice.
I think he is a little timid and needs to lean in a bit in battling for that ice - the good news is, he's better at it this year than he has been and that's showing in how he looks to be much better with puck possession.
I think his scoring will improve a ton if he does the above -
