I can’t imagine people paying to watch these two teams.
You might be right, but guys on this team with full-time jobs do what he just did every night, usually twice a night. They see a guy who’s a great skater and then hear about him scoring a ton in the AHL. Sorry, there’s nothing there. Kid can fly so he looks good can lower competition in the AHL, it’s as simple as that. AAAA player.
It wasn’t obvious the end of last season he doesn’t have an NHL future and further obvious when he stayed all season in the AHL this year. This call up is a thank you congrats on the great season and being a good soldier here’s a reward type thing. No future here for him.
Surprised as you are. They don't seem compatible. Opposites attract, I guess.
Shattenkirk has one leg. Gilmour skates like he has three. Together they have the right amount.Surprised as you are. They don't seem compatible. Opposites attract, I guess.
His only issue is learning to pick and choose his spots for where to shoot instead of pass, but otherwise, he looked great as the primary puck facilitator on his line. He had more jump in his legs and made better reads too since he wasn't sitting high on the wallChytil has had a great 1st period
Chytil had a nice period but he should be pretty good in the AHL at this point.
I definitely wouldn't put any weight on him playing center as the reason.

Lol that’s true but that doesn’t make it okay. You might be right, but guys on this team with full-time jobs do what he just did every night, usually twice a night.
Well it's not his preferred position since he never played center until his age 17 season, and we're playing the Red Wings. Why not? Seen it before with players who are more comfortable at their preferred position and they relax and play better. Being comfortable equals confidence which translates on the ice.
Fair enough.Lol that’s true but that doesn’t make it okay.
Really though the only guy who really continually makes such poor gap reads and leaves so much open ice and the loses physically battles like that is Pionk and I also don’t think he’s a legit NHLer either so.

Can we invoke the little used family swap rule and trade Smith and Strome for their siblings?
I like Smith, but I'd be totally behind this. Can we invoke the little used family swap rule and trade Smith and Strome for their siblings?
These moves are Gorton. Don't think Quinn has a say. Gorton wants to see these guys over this last stretch of games to decide Love It or List It.
The thing is, they both did. Simultaneously, after asking each other if it was ok. Bad mistake, not all Gilmour's.Even if you are on the wrong side coming onto the ice, you do not vacate the middle of the ice as a defenseman.
You know, he's really not wrongDid Maloney just say: “he’s nowhere near man strength?” About Chytil? Lol.
