Catch me up because I’m out of the loop here.

Is Kane done for the season?

If he’s going to be come back wouldn’t he have more value to the Oilers by playing than via trade?

(Unless of course he brings back a better player)
To BOS: Pickard, Kane 2026 1st

To EDM: Korpi, Frederic

If Edmonton wants to dump Kane and need some cap space would this be of interest to them and us? Kane although maybe not a great dude when healthy is the exact kind of player we like on the ice. He can score which we also need. Not sure what the extent of his injury is but if we are confident he's good to go would you all be willing to take him on for another year?

I’d be curious to see how many PP points Lohrei has versus how many shorthanded goals he’s been on the ice for.
Lohrei- 13 PP points, 4 SH goals against, 2:02 PP TOI/G
McAvoy- 4 PP points, 4 SH goals against, 3:19 PP TOI/G
Lohrei has been on the ice for 17 PP goals, McAvoy has been on the ice for 10 PP goals
It’s painfully obvious who should be on the first unit.

Respectfully, I disagree. If you have a team of 3rd liners and Pasta and you have no real promise of going deep in the playoffs, attendance will drop anyways.
If you market a rebuild the correct way, you obviously will experience a drop but the difference won't be much.

The outlier is Pasta. He is such a dynamic player AND personality, its hard to let go of. And I don't blame the bruins for wanting to keep on with him.
Bah, they aren't going to rebuild anyway. So its a moot point from me.
I pay to go watch Pasta myself .Rest of that team I would not pay 15 cents to watch .I am trying not to bring up management as much ,its hard on my pressure 😆

No question. I was just curious about the ratio, 13 to 4. Doing a little more digging, Lohrei's 4th worst D in the league in terms of SH goals against per 60, but it kinda feels like the giveaway stat in that the whole top10 is filled with good players. Still, while the offensive side for Lohrei is obvious he does have some some work to do in terms of decision making and risk management when he's the only guy on the blue line.

Clearly the powerplay is better with Lohrei far as production.Be nice moving forward if the Bruins could find a smart partner for him to be there when he is taking some gambles.Clearly the kid has talent though to work with.Maybe as he matures he learns a little better when to take risks .I saw Zadorov get burned recently though so there's that too I guess.

This plan reminds me of Sinden’s pre-cap plan where he cleared the decks of anyone useful with the expectation the Bruins would be in a prime position to grab up all the newly available talent…

Zhamnov.
True. Let’s keep Marchand, sign Frederic to an 8 year deal for 6m per, extend Coyle next summer 8 years.

Why not try 2 D and 3 F?

Lohrei and McAvoy then.

Yeah, that's what I suggested earlier this year in Colt's 'Fix the PP' thread. I think they should have looked at that earlier in the season when points were so important. Now, I'm okay letting Lohrei learn from his mistakes, as long as he is learning from them and not just repeating them.

All these trades happening and Donnie is

In the event they move on from Coyle, and especially Marchand, I’d love to see Duchene on this roster. I don’t care that he’s 34, he’d fill a needed gap in Vet presence already missing, but more so if either/both of those players aren’t here next fall as we’d have no skaters over 30 I believe. Plus Duchene is lighting it up this season (24goals/60pts as of today) and maybe his age helps us get someone putting up numbers for less without long term commitment.

I think they would have looked to trade Carlo at the deadline but with Lindholm and Mac down they need bodies. I guess if he'd take a cap dump d to take some minutes maybe.

I’m 100% at the point where I want to be big sellers and I can’t imagine that at least 70% of fans don’t agree with me.

There is no reason in the world not to move:

Brazeau and Koepke for whatever you can get.

Coyle and Carlo combined (not necessarily on the same deal) will absolutely bring back a 1, 2 and a couple of prospects or later picks.

Frederic for a 2 and prospect.

Marchand if he’s willing for a 1.

And TBH, even though I like them, if someone wanted to overpay for Zacha or Geekie, I’d consider it…depending on return.

Same with Peeke.
