This team was drastically outshot by Carolina on home ice, and got a win because Scott Darling did an imitation of an empty net. Why would any one expect a solid result against the Penguins?

The other thing Bobby Mac mentioned is bringing in veterans on short-term deals to help augment the rebuild

Not sure I see rebuild and the cost of EK jiving in the same concept.

We're good with goalies like the Pens are with wingers and the Preds are with defensemen.

All I think about in a game like this is what the Penguins will be once Crosby and Malkin are either shadows of themselves, or retired.
It's a good thought. Something tells me there will be some empty seats at PPG Paints Arena.

EK to NYR rumblings from Bobfather sounds interesting.

Hm, now if only someone would have dropped hints around here regarding that over the past couple of months....

He has picked it up quite a bit lately, he's third overall now among D, only 3 points from the lead (Klingberg) and I am sure he will be 1st soon. His skating is back to where it used to be. I'd love to see him in NYC!

Buchnevich is better with Namestnikov anyway.
