I didn’t even think about that  they’re like a whiny ex
Shouldn't be mad at us though, it's not our fault he only wanted to be traded here.

I think their fanbase has a sense of entitlement these past few years, not only being good but seemingly the entire hockey media sucking them off at all times , every trade, every signing, every thing is about how great they are. I think their team is whiny and entitled and the fanbase is whiny. Someone said it last night and it's pretty good: they're the Penguins without the Cups.

f*** them, f*** their team I hope they get swept in round 1 and then Point gets offer sheeted this summer and I will happily take a second rounder instead of a first and not watch 5 long time Rangers lift the Cup as members of their team. I hope they choke.

Poor Skjei sucks too.
The big softie looked confused in that scrum as to who he should avoid ....they have to get him working on that . He looks pretty timid when that stuff occurs . At his size...no thought should be involved...jump in and grab somebody . I have to consider him to be a bubble guy for us moving forward . If we can get the right return....and have somebody at some point ready to assume his spot then ship him out . I have a feeling the games for him the rest of the way might be a measuring stick on him...if not....it should be . Maybe because we are badly depleted on defense talent for the time being ....that he gets next year with some new teammates and he then hopefully he might entertain taking on a more physical role when needed . It also might never happen . He does not need to fight....but at least grab a guy ASAP . Even Staal will do that .

I think a lot of people are sleeping on him. If he continues to play this way and keeps developing that's one top 6 spot we don't have to worry about going forward

He's basically back to where he was pre injury + maybe even a bit better

Strength is still an issue but can be slowly worked on
He’s showing good strength lately, in my opinion. Surprisingly.

Some of them are upset.

Others are calling them the best team in pro sports history and chest thumping about how they don't even try and beat teams anyway because they're the best team in sports history.

No middle ground in that fanbase.
Nowhere even close to the Habs in the 70 's who won without the OT and SO goals and/ loser points...so many new age records just should not be considered IMO . Sixty minute games and one point each a whole different game . I wish we could get rid of the loser point .

Lol Tampa fans are playing the "Hey, our team doesn't care and is just waiting for the playoffs card."

No, your team cared plenty last night... Until they got punched in the face, then they wilted and got worked by a team that has like 4 and a half players on it.
Exactly. First I disagree that a team would “play down” to their opposition for a whole game. Once a team gets socked they get going. Especially a great team like TB. There’s an argument to be made for a team starting a game low-energy. But TB came out flying.
What I saw was a TB team that was ready and flying but when the Rangers counterpunched it became a dog fight. Both teams fought and I’d say the Rangers even had a slight edge in periods two and three.

Hear hear. This. Or at least add a point for a regulation win.

Quinn riding his horses...nice!
There is this>>>positive
Pretty much just shows what Quinn thinks of lines 3-4.
and there is this>>>>>negative

Go figure. Can't have our cake and eat it too!
Not happy with AV, not happy with Quinn,
Not happy with rolling 4 lines and distributing minutes
Not happy with over playing the horses
Not happy with buying, not happy with selling
Not happy with rebuild, not happy with waiting.
Not happy with trading Zuccha, not happy re-signing him
Not happy with trading Hayes, not happy re-signing him
Jeez, guess we are Rangers fans.

That "entitlement" is what pisses me off.
Pens without cups.......lmao

At first thought, I actually would be happy for EACH PLAYER as individuals.......they were LOYAL Rangers. It really wasnt their call to leave. Cally is entirely a different entity.
Why I DON'T want them to win a cup.....more against their fans and how they might feel they got their cup, based on "getting over on Rangers mgmt. by stealing our players.
****Shocking*** they weren't in on Hayes and especially Zuccha. Just to add insult to injury.

I will not CRY if its only a 2nd. But that 1st conceivably be packaged in an attempt to move up and grab Hughes or Kakko.

I really dislike this term, its technically not even true.

In my eyes......BOTH teams EARNED that 1 point, via a tie in regulation. In the olden days, you kiss your sister and go home. With ONLY 1 point.
Technically they didn't LOSE in regulation, yet eventually they did lose.....ergo the term "loser point". Still, I believe that to be WRONG.
Now, BOTH TEAMS have the "opportunity" to get an "extra point". Shouldn't it be termed "bonus or charity" point?

Or, am I making a "loser point"?
On a thread no one will visit as soon a gdt goes up. Lmaoam.

Buchnevich should get more love. People were quick to piss on him when he struggled but are staying mostly silent when he is excelling now. I see Lemieux is given credit for elevating the intensity of the whole team but to me it was Buch. He more than held his own in the fight, he made multiple plays in the defensive zone to relieve the pressure TBL was putting on and similarly made plays in the offensive zone to keep the puck in and continue cycling. What he and Zibanejad did keeping the pressure on in Tampa’s zone during PP and after it expires is why later the tying goal was scored.

Gotta gove Buchy props, the kid has been absolutely working his bag off for the last month or so, and it seems like he’s had that Namestnikov moment where Quinn’s whole effort talk just...clicked.

Completely agree.

It's not a "loser point". It's the point for the regulation tie.

If OT was actually 5 v 5 hockey, I don't have a problem with no points being awarded if a team loses. The whole reason a regulation tie point was added back was because the league knew 4 v 4 and now 3 v 3 is a gimmick.

Thanks, appreciate that. I would no sooner LIKE both teams going "balls out" to the death.....lose walks away with NOTHING! Zero points.
Only problem......when does the game actually end?
It would take away the significance of "regulation" and "overtime". 10 minutes? 5 minutes?
You know what i mean.....
O.T is very exciting, buh bye to the shootout.
How about......3 points win in regulation
2 points win in O.T.
1 point lose in O.T.
No shootout

It'd be easier to root for them if they had a different coach. Cooper is an arrogant prick.

They think he is an issue, after getting man handled by Boston...

Cooper is our weakest Link?

I have no words for this, only that I wish we had 100 points now, I would be putting Quinn on a pedestal right now. In fact we are losing, and have been very happy with what Quinn has done with this roster.
