Pre-Game Talk: Rangers vs. Lightning 02/27/19 - 7:30 EST

What is your incessant problem with that? Seems every time he has done 11/7 we have lost a defenseman. Haven't one time we temporarily lost 2 dmen? Just saying.
Smith has been okay as a forward........
The only question i have in regard to this ........is why? Lmfao.

Well for starters, we could give Chytil 13 minutes.

I guess it's fine if Smith is a straight 4th liner (again, dumb choice, but different argument) but if they actually start cycling 7 D the whole team goes into disarray.

If Smith is just going to be a forward now, I can live with it.

The last time they actually rolled 7 defensemen it was a circus. Nobody knew who they were playing with or where they were supposed to be.

Hockey is 4 lines and 3 pairs. 11/7 is some clown shit.

Actually tired of teams underestimating us. That is NO respect, where i come from. Sooner or later, we should be handed our hard earned losses, that we so deservedly deserve. Enough of the "feeling sorry for us". Again, that is NO respect. Give us what we deserve! Take it to us, while you have the chance. Because WHEN we get out of this "transition", we will have NO MERCY on you and your team.......NO MERCY!

What happened to thinking out of the box? If you ran hockey, the forward pass would still be outlawed. :sarcasm:

I don't think he doesn't care. The dude clearly loves the game and is not some type of locker room cancer. I'm more apt to believe he just doesn't think of it. It isn't a subconscious habit to continue to skate hard and back check.

I thought the Chytil-Lias-Buch line was our best for the past 2 games. Makes no sense why Chytil is sitting unless he is completely dogging it in practice.

I'm going to give Quinn the benefit of the doubt here, but I'm a little nervous Chytil is getting to the point where he is consistently in the doghouse. I'm also somewhat fearful that Chytil's lack of effort could be misconstrued with his exhaustion from playing the longest season of his career. It's very possible he is hitting the rookie wall.

You people are literally warped! Wow we are celebrating effort right now?!? This is not peewee level hockey! This is PROFESSIONAL NHL level hockey. That roster you are in love with, have up 6 goals!!! Please can we deal in facts here. Humbled the caps?!? The Caps played their backup goalie against us who could not stop a beach ball coming at him at times.

You can have your pathetically low standards of what it means to be competitive in the NHL and I’ll continue to hold my standards that are much higher.

Also, can the personal attacks stop?!! I guess the message here is clear, either be a Ranger fan boy and root on the team blindly or stay silent.
